Self-thinking

Should everyone doing research? Should I do research? Am I happy if I am a famous mathematicians and only some people understand my job? Am I happy if I can solve many education problems in teaching and doing research in mathematics? Am I interested only in mathematics or in other subjects? Should I devote my whole life in research office or have wide network with different people in different majors, different levels?
